DAVE VANVOORHIS CELEBRATES 21 YEARS
This month, Dave VanVoorhis celebrates 21 years with Buffalo! Approached by Greg Davalos back in 1995, Dave’s first job was working at the airport building a glass-enclosed walkway for Horizon Air. With less than five employees at the time, Dave started working in the “shop” which was simply the two-car garage out on Beavercreek Road in Oregon City, where Gilbert Davalos started the company out of his home. Dave would cut the parts in the garage, then take them out in the field to weld. His starting pay was $10/hour. ‘I’ve certainly had my ups and downs here,” Dave says. He spoke of many life changes that he’s been through as an employee of Buffalo Welding. But one thing that has stayed consistent is his typical 50+ hour weeks and a penchant for hard work.
Thank you Dave—for 21 years of dedication to Buffalo Welding!
